NHM Online Presents ChocoLAte: From Beans to Bliss, a video series celebrating the diversity of Los Angeles and its people through the lens of chocolate.

Robbie, Bonnie, and Jeffrey Jacobs form the dynamic creative team behind Uncle Eddie’s Vegan Cookies. Their journey began in New York, where a shared passion for desserts was instilled in them by their mother. This familial love for sweets evolved into the foundation of a business that is now family-owned and operated.

Post-college, Robbie set his sights on Los Angeles, envisioning a future filled with sunshine, palm trees, and the realization of his entrepreneurial dreams. The inspiration for Uncle Eddie’s Vegan Cookies struck him during encounters with numerous fresh-baked cookie establishments in New York. Fueled by this vision, he was determined to bring his cookie company to life, enlisting the collaboration of his siblings, Bonnie and Jeffrey, and the unwavering support of their parents.

An Uncle Eddie’s cookie is more than just a delightful treat; it encapsulates the founders' commitment to running their business sustainably, infused with love and respect for all living beings. Since its inception in 1999, Uncle Eddie’s Vegan Cookies has consistently infused every batch of their delectable desserts with kindness and love, making them a cherished choice for those who seek not only deliciousness but also a commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.

This product was created for the right reasons. There was love put into it...and I think that reaches people when they taste it for the first time.
