Our museums remain closed due to COVID-19. While LA County Public Health has entered Phase 3 of the Roadmap to Recovery, allowing for the reopening of museums on June 12, our museums are still slowly welcoming back staff and are in the process of planning for new health and safety protocols in our galleries and gardens. Therefore, we will not be reopening until later in the summer. Sign up here to be the first to know when we will safely re-open to the public and in the meantime, stay connected from home.

Accessibility

We aim to make William S. Hart Museum an exciting, educational, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

From the parking lot at the bottom of the hill, guests will walk 1/4 of a mile up the Nature Trail to the museum. Additionally, the second floor of the museum is accessed via a flight of 17 stairs.

Guests with questions regarding accessibility or who would like to arrange hilltop parking and tour accommodations before their visit are kindly asked to call 661.254.4584 or or e-mail information@hartmuseum.org.

If you have accessibility needs and are using a rideshare service, we suggest having the driver travel up the hill for drop off at the museum.

Accessible restrooms

Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available behind museum and near the Ranch House.

Service animals

In order to provide a secure and healthy environment for our guests, as well as to protect our collections, we can only allow service animals in the museum.  A service animal is one that is trained to work or perform tasks for a person with a disability.
