The William S. Hart Museum provides field trip tours to Pre-K – 12 public or private schools at no cost.


Please complete this request form at least 3 weeks in advance of your visit. After completing this form, you will receive an email with receipt of your booking request. Please understand that submitting a field trip request is not confirmation of your reservation. Allow up to two weeks for us to process your request, book your group, and send your confirmation email. We appreciate your patience as we process your request.

Why don’t I qualify? The Natural History Museum provides free field trips to Pre K - 12th grade groups from California accredited public schools, private schools, head start programs, child development centers, and non-profit organizations that provide academic instruction to students on a school site at least three days a week. William S. Hart Museum requests that there be 1 chaperone per 10 students. Schools will be divided into their classroom groups. Each classroom will be taken in their own tour staggering each classroom every 15 minutes.

Our available school tour bookings are available Wednesday through Friday starting at 9:45 am and our last booking at 10:45 am.

We take 1 classroom group at a time, 30 students max.
