Open House - The Day of the Film

On this day, rather than guided tours, the Hart will be hosting a more casual experience. You'll enter the house at any time, and YOU get to decide how much time you'll spend here. This month we will focus on film - silents, westerns, early talkies - and will be offering pop-up chats, displays as well and hands-on activities. How was the film process used during Hart's career different from modern film? Learn how to thread film through a projector or camera - no, you didn't just press the "on" button!  There will be volunteers and staff around the house who can answer your questions and help guide you through activities.
