The Hart Museum remains closed at this time. We are eager to welcome you back indoors as soon as it is safe to do so. The Hart Park remains open, so please enjoy the outdoor areas that we have to offer.
Viewing the Mansion
We welcome you to view the exterior of Hart’s mansion with its impressive views and stunning Spanish Colonial revival style architecture. From the parking lot at the bottom of the hill, guests will walk 1/4 of a mile up the Nature Trail to the museum. On your way stop and notice the other historic structures and sites located along the way such as the Ranch House, The Bunk House, old swimming pool, and Mary Ellen’s Tea Room. Hart Park Office at 661.259-1750 for any questions specifically regarding the park.
Visiting the Ranch House
The Hart Museum ranch house, located next to the picnic area in William S. Hart Park, also remains closed at this time.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy all the amenities in William S. Hart Park year round.
- Fall / Winter / Spring Park Hours
Hours start on the Sunday Daylight Savings Time ends (in the Fall) and run until the Sunday Daylight Savings Time begins (in the Spring)
9 am – 5 pm Wednesday through Sunday
- Summer Park Hours
Hours start the Sunday Daylight Savings Time begins (in the Spring) and run until the Sunday Daylight Saving Time ends (in the Fall)
9 am – 6 pm Wednesday through Sunday
The Park is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays year round.

Parking
Free parking is available at the parking lot located inside the entrance to Hart Park, at the bottom of the hill. Guests will need to walk 1/4 of a mile up the Nature Trail (which starts between the Ranch House and the Gift Store) to the museum, which is located at the top of a steep hill.
