Spend a Saturday morning at La Brea Tar Pits and gain some unique experiences and skills to take back to your classroom. Our free weekend educator workshops explore teaching techniques and methodologies that will connect your students to active science in L.A. and meet NGSS and Common Core goals!

Participants from past workshops will share how they've incorporated ideas from the Museum into their teaching. Participants will have the chance to practice museum-teaching techniques used in our school programs, and brainstorm ways to make it work in their own classroom.
*Please note that this event will take place at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County located at: 900 Exposition Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90007
